ABA Alumni of the Week: Brynn Masikewich
Brynn Masikewich has been named the Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Alumni of the Week for July 21 - July 27, 2025.
The Calgary native recorded her third straight double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing a game-high 16 rebounds for the Albury-Wodonga Lady Bandits in a 100-84 loss to the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in NBL1 East women’s action on July 26.
A six-foot-three forward, Masikewich is having a tremendous season in Australia. Through 21 games with the Landy Bandits, she is averaging 18.6 points and a team-best 11.0 rebounds while shooting 54.4% from the field.
Masikewich played four years with Team Alberta, competing at the Canada Basketball National Championships in 2014 (15U), 2015 (15U) and 2016 (17U), as well as the Canada Summer Games in 2017. She was named a15U Girls Second Team All-Star at the National Championships in 2014 and 2015.
