Team Canada wins FIBA 3x3 Women's Tour stop in Edmonton

Albertans Kacie Bosch (Lethbridge) and Katherine Plouffe (Edmonton) helped Team Canada win the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series stop in Edmonton.

Cheered on by the home fans at West Edmonton Mall, Canada defeated Spokane 21-15 in the final on Aug 2.

Team Canada, which also included Paige Crozon and Saicha Grant-Allen, had a perfect 5-0 over two days of competition at the Hoop City 3x3 festival.

Following the game, a retirement ceremony was held celebrating the incredible 3x3 career of Edmonton’s Michelle Plouffe.

Hoop City 3x3 wraps up on Aug .3 with the final day of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Edmonton. Games will be streamed live on the FIBA 3x3 YouTube channel.
