ABA Alumni of the Week: Myriam Kone
Toronto Metropolitan University women’s basketball fourth-year guard Myriam Kone has been named the Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Alumni of the Week for Jan. 5 to 11, 2026.
The Edmonton native scored a game-high 24 points to lead TMU to a 75-55 victory over Laurier at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto on Jan. 7. She also recorded 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocks.
As of Jan. 11, Kone ranks first on her team in several categories, including points per game (20.8), assists per game (2.5) and steals per game (3.3). She’s also averaging 5.9 rebounds per game and 0.6 blocks per game.
Kone played for Team Alberta at the 2019 Canada Basketball 15U Girls National Championships.
