Albertans named to Canada's World Cup 3x3 roster

Alberta Basketball alumni Kacie Bosch (hometown: Lethbridge) and Katherine Plouffe (Edmonton) are part of the Canadian 3x3 Women’s National Team roster that will compete at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2026 from June 1 to June 7 in Warsaw, Poland.

Canada Basketball announced the roster on May 28. The team also includes Paige Crozon (Humboldt, Sask.) and Tara Wallack (Surrey, B.C.).

Canada is seeded fifth for the tournament and has been drawn into Pool D alongside Lithuania, Ukraine, Japan and France. The Canadians will open pool play on June 2 against Lithuania at 10:30 a.m. MT before facing Ukraine at 12:20 p.m. MT. Canada returns to action on June 4 against Japan at 10:55 p.m. MT and France at 12:45 p.m. MT.

All games from the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2026 will be available live on CBC Gem and the FIBA 3x3 YouTube channel.
