Trio of Albertans are part of Canadian U18 men's national team

The Canadian U18 men’s national basketball team will include a trio of Albertans.

Deng Ngor (Grande Prairie) and Nathan Yambayamba (Edmonton) have been named to the team’s roster, while Kyle Landry (Calgary) will serve as an assistant coach.

The team is set to compete at the FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup 2026, which takes place June 1-7 in León, Mexico. In Group B play, Canada faces Venezuela (June 1 at 12:30 pm MT), Dominican Republic (June 2 at 3:00 pm MT), and Puerto Rico (June 4 at 5:30 pm MT).
